Sweet…Roasted…NutsEveryone who’s paid a premium on these delicious snacks at a fair or convention knows how tasty they are. Now we can make them whenever we want, give them as gifts, or just have a jar full near us at all times when we get a taste for something sweet and crunchy. These are our favorite, but you can experiment with other varieties of nuts at your discretion. Ingredients:
Directions:1. Preheat oven to 225°F, and lightly grease a rimmed baking pan. 2. Combine the sugar, salt, and cinnamon in a bowl and set aside. 3. Combine egg white and water in a mixing bowl, and beat until fluffy. 4. Gently fold the pecans into the egg whites. Don’t over mix it, you spent a lot of time fluffing them. 5. Coat the pecans evenly with the sugar mixture, and spread them out in an even layer on the prepared pan. 6. Bake in the oven for about 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. When they are toasted and fragrant, pull them out to let them cool on the pan, and ENJOY!
